Aug 14. Rosneft and Gazprom Neft will supply the necessary volume of fuel oil to cover the peak load in autumn and winter in Kamchatka, Vice PM Igor Sechin told Vladimir Putin at a meeting Wednesday. "We have reached an agreement with two companies, Rosneft and Gazprom Neft which will ensure the necessary volume of fuel oil supplies to meet the peak load in autumn and winter in Kamchatka. Today railway operators and marine shipping companies will optimize all tariffs and expenses to ship this fuel" – he stressed. Igor Sechin expressed confidence that the necessary fuel inventories will be stockpiled at all utility companies. There are about eight critical regions from the standpoint of fuel inventories, Sechin said. "We held meeting with the representatives of all regions yesterday and relieved pressure in terms of fuel reserves. We are confident that fuel reserves will be shipped on time" – Sechin noted.
