Aug 14. Norilsk Nickel has declined to accept UC RusAl's offer to develop a feasibility study for environmental upgrade, the nickel producer said in a press release. NorNickel has already been implementing an in-house environmental program that was drafted and approved. In 2007-2015 the company will allocate over RUB 36 bn for the implementation of environmental measures. Therefore, there is no need for a feasibility study", the press release says.
