Aug 12. Lukoil-Severo-Zapadnefteprodukt has applied to the Federal Antimonopoly Service to take over Lukoil- Severnefteprodukt, FAS said in a press release. Lukoil-Severo-Zapadnefteprodukt said that the takeover is part of overall reorganization with a view to operational optimization. The source did not specify the timing of a merger. According to the source, after the reorganization Lukoil- Severnefteprodukt will operate as branch of Lukoil-Severo-Zapadnefteprodukt. The former engages in oil product sales in the Republic of Komi, the Arkhangelsk region, the Nenets Autonomous District and the Yamal-Nenets Autonomous District.
